We know that entheogens (psychedelic plants) have an amazing ability to help us heal.
They can also help us embody higher levels of consciousness as well as even help our brains grow new connections.
We as human beings, small yet significant pieces of the universe, have the right to these powerful plant medicines. In most parts of the world these medicines are either made illegal by governments, or legalized just enough for the governments to profit off of them and help only those who can afford them at very high costs.
Decriminalize Nature Mesa’s mission is to bring the power back to the people, that we may benefit our community and ourselves in Mesa, AZ, by bringing back access to these plant medicines!

Improve human health and well-being by decriminalizing and expanding access to entheogenic plants and fungi through political and community organizing, education and advocacy.
We envision happier, healthier individuals and communities reconnected to nature and entheogenic plant and fungi traditions and practices.
To decriminalize entheogenic plants, restore our root connection to nature, and improve human health and well-being.
The government has no legitimate authority to restrict access to plants and fungi. These natural substances were criminalized under the Nixon administration based on politics, not science. While some organizations seek approval through federal agencies like the DEA and FDA, Decriminalize Nature believes growing, gathering, and gifting entheogens is a basic human right.
Decriminalizing these sacred plants and fungi allows communities to reconnect with their ancient uses, free from government and corporate control. People should have the freedom to heal, pursue personal and spiritual growth, and explore consciousness on their own terms. Criminalization has caused stigma, job loss, and incarceration—we aim to end that.
