TESTIMONIALS
HOW ENTHEOGENS AFFECT PEOPLE’S LIVES
“I wouldn’t be here without the wonder of Nature to chase away those starving demons.
No more haunting nights; the sun shines brighter everyday.”
“What a courageous grassroots community: When people go on the record before their elected officials to basically say ‘I broke this unjust law and it helped heal me’ that’s a different level of investment and commitment in this process. It’s putting your full self into it and people have been willing to take that big step because it’s important to them.”
“Entheogens have allowed me to see thru the illusion of an individual, atomistic existence; a glimpse, perhaps, into something grander, connected and weirder. Something more whole.”
“This is our chance to make a real positive change for our community.
Entheogens are a part of Nature and Nature is sacred.”

Entheogenic plants and fungi have helped me separate my anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts from myself. I envision a different era of humanity in which people have access to mental-health treatment that heals the root of the pain as opposed to smothering the symptoms.
Psychedelics have been integral to my journey of deconstructing my own ego, grappling with the character I had become and, ultimately, disentangling myself from all these toxic narratives so that I could begin moving towards wholeness, compassion, love, integration and presence.
I tried psilocybin mushrooms with a group of close friends. The experience was completely life-changing. The dissolution of the boundary between myself and the rest of the universe was the most profound and powerful effect… I believe it’s humanity’s inherent right to have this experience.
“I advocate for the decriminalization of nature in our city so that every adult who chooses to grow, gather, or gift these healing plants will not have to face persecution.
I also speak to help reduce the stigma around this sacramental medicines this stigma is the direct result of colonization and the war on land-based people and their practices, which goes back thousands of years. We are thrilled to have an opportunity in our city right now to do the right thing by decriminalizing nature to help reduce suffering and ensure more equitable access to these healing plants and fungi.”

“Entheogens have given me my life back!”
By the time I was 18 years old I had been prescribed over 75 harsh pharmaceutical medicines in the treatment of Tourette’s, all of which held horrific symptoms.
The discovery of Psilocybin and Ayahuasca gave me immense healing and switched my mindset from the need to extinguish my neurodiversity to a total embrace and appreciation of it.
I have come to realize that I am no longer a human being on a spiritual path. I’m consciousness having a human experience. Which has also erased all fear of my end/death.
Nature is a potent teacher. We humans cannot survive without our plant-fungi-kinship. This path has led me to new discoveries about being human and holding space for other humans too.
I’m autistic. My baseline experience of life is an overwhelming sense of disconnection and anxiety. Plant medicines have given me the only relief I’ve ever known.
“It’s a spiritual and important piece of my life, and I want all humans to benefit from their gifts.”
Mushrooms changed my life and gave me so much. I believe their power, and that of many other plants, should be accessible. While we need to respect the power of these beings, it’s important to also recognize the injustice in criminalizing them.
